Did you recently upgrade to verified status? If so, when adding the badge it could have interfered with the title.

I think it's a bug.
Last year I had my title randomly change itself back 2-3 times.

You changed your email on Jan 7th. When an email is changed, you have to re-activate your account again using the new email. During this process your usergroup is changed to "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" then changed back to normal once you re-activate.
This appears to reset your title, so we'll have to make a change so this doesn't happen.
