Since mods do not delete threads, I wondered if I could post a new thread while my old one is 3 threads down. I can not edit that old thread anymore and I do want to change some things, so the only option is to create a new one. Is it ok for 2 similar threads being so close to each other?

I wanted to change a name of the thread and put a price in it, while posting in the thread is the same as a "bump". So the only way for me is to pay or wait some time till the thread is so far down it can not be seen on the page anymore or even then it's not allowed?
Posts no longer bump threads to the top, this was changed yesterday. See the News/Announcement forum for more info.
We don't allow dups, even if one is bumped off the first page. We let some slide if the threads are old, for instance if one thread is 3 months old and on page 5, then it's okay to make a new one that has new info.
Your thread is only a few weeks ago. You can just add a new post to the thread with the new info.
