Threads will now auto-close after 30 days for no activity instead of 60 days. By no activity, this means there are no new posts or bumps within 30 days.
We will be making additional updates in the near future to address a few concerns about thread closure.
1) A new re-open button to make it more obvious on how to reopen closed threads.
-- Currently you can click the "Bump Now" button to reset the timer and that will reopen your thread.
2) Fade out closed threads - Currently there is only a lock on the thread to signify a closed thread. To make it easier to see, we'll fade out the row so it's obvious the thread is inactive.
3) Users will be able to edit threads even if they're closed due to inactivity.
Updates are expected within 10 days.
