It is different. COD is more like a fast action shooter based on reflexes, if you are good you can dominate the game. Battlefield requires much more teamplay and tactics. Different experience, both can be good.

it is way better than cod .. in team deathmatch its feel like cod but harder with recoil .. in other mods like conquest large etc .. u will need good squad but in genral its way better than cod at least for me

Haven't played any COD after MW3 but all i know is that BF4 rocks, too bad about the servers though but it seems to be less of a problem now.
