I was invited to a research test for SWTOR. This is not your normal beta invite. It is for a limited test, but there is a good possibility that the account will be invited back to all future tests.
The account became active on June 21st and will last for 30 days. Most of accounts being sold on this forum are probably for this research test and they aren't telling you the information that I am. Test the game well and don't leak footage and I am sure they are not going to turn away extending a good tester's invitation. Why risk more leakers when you can have solid testers just continue testing? At least that is the way I look at it.
Taken from the FAQ:
"When each testing session ends, will the chosen players be able to test again? Our approach is to have new testers for each testing session. That said, players who give excellent feedback or find and report good bugs may be considered for additional testing sessions."
Bioware is real stingy on different IPS. An example they made...you are allowed to play from your "summer" home, but say you try and change the e-mail and/or password or you add on a third IP to the account, that would be a no no and the account will end up being banned.
Taken from the FAQ: "Can I play the game from multiple locations? While it is acceptable to install the game on more than one machine at your home, you should avoid playing from multiple physical locations. You should also NEVER install or play the game in a public place. We monitor testing accounts closely, and do remove accounts from the program if we have reason to believe you are sharing your account or that you have sold it."
