If a user (let's take this : https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/twi...-sub-bot-auto-subscribe.1438784/#post-6259975, but there are plenty) refuses to use middlemen for transcation worth more than 500$ it's very likely a scam, expecially if he accepts BTC only.
That said, not ever user is wise enough to discern from a likely scam and a legit offer.
I believe that forcing middleman for users with <15feedbacks or whatever limit, and transaction total value>500 (or again, whatever limit you believe is appropriate) would reduce scams.
These are clear bait and scam, there are currently 5 threads in the Epicnpc forum that refuse to use any middleman (mind i always offered to use ARMIK not myself) and they just refuse because "middleman are not trustowrthy, they scam" or whatever excuse they use.
Now im not saying its 100% a scam, but at least 99,99% he cant provide the service advertised as he has 0reputation and offer high value items.
TL;DR High value items from low reputation user should be forced to use MM (by high value i 500+) (low feedback <10 or 15)
