There are no restrictions on the account, I just could not remember if I had already previously linked a PS4/XBOX/switch account to it.

probably an epic account restriction, which means you’ll have to wait in order to unlink it from a platform
He needs to state why/ if it has a restriction, you cannot offer an account on the premise that "I'm not sure" as it can lead to misinterpretation.
