Standard dual verification?

I'm new to this site, but bought about 10 toons on PlayerAuctions.
I had 3 toons reclaimed, and after that I started requiring that sellers
provide me with full name/address/home phone number that I'd personally
verify. The only person who tried to reclaim after that I filed against in small
claims court and called his boss at his job. How do people here typically
verify identity to minimize reclaim?

You usually try and get all the information including, ID verification, Secret Question/Answer, the game serial code numbers, e-mail attached to it and sometimes the state/address the seller lives it.

I would try and deal with Original Owners first, or highly repped/verified members to get your feedback and identity up.

When you say "ID verification", do you mean getting a copy of the physical government ID?
As I understand it, an ID faxed to Blizzard trumps pretty much everything, doesn't it?
With that, the OO can always reclaim an account with no recourse.
