some ideas to basicly make md seller tools

today at work i had a brainstorm on how to make trading safer/easier.

i would like to put my ideas into action and to converse with people whom have done many transactions or have ideas as well.

it will also point out the flaws that i wouldn't see myself.

my aim is neverthat87.

i have already begun work on the one idea i had.

thinking of making a data base of all md users,
this would prevent scams by acting as another member.

the only info the user would know is your full name.

they would enter it and then enter info provided by the seller/buyer and if it matches then you can proceed to confirm who they are.

for example
name [josh winder]
phone number[1234567890]
email address(pay pal) [[email protected]]
aim or other name [neverthat87]
ip address [48623874692364]

all info provided by the person matches our records, just confirm they are who they say by sending them an email,phone call. etc

plus this could be used to catch scammers and etc.

Think that sounds like a really good idea. I just started on the forums, but trying to be cautious about the people I deal with. This would make trades easier and safer. Agreed.

ok i just started on the first 2 ideas.

i came up with another.

MIM! markee version of aim but better and would reduce unwanted spam, help with people acting as others, great for announcements that need to be made asap.

would have lots of potential.

keep the feed back coming.

Ok, i see a few problems with that. For one....With that information and a little research, i can steal anyones world of warcraft account especially if they are selling a character.

Secondly: If blizzard ever tries to patrol these forums to catch sellers and buyers. You give them the tools to search their databases for information to ban characters. Personal information is good to keep personal.

I like the MIM idea though. Though, scammers tend to just use brand new free accounts anyway...so ummm i dunno if it would work.
