Sold currency to a guy, and after the trade he just opened a PP dispute? 112$

Hi,

I did a trade with a guy that probably found me on this forum, since i don't really use any other forums of this type. He sent me the money via Friends and Family and after that i delivered the goods, i asked him to put i note in paypal the object of the trade and he did. Half an hour after the trade he opened a dispute claiming "unauthorized transaction". I have proof of delivery(video), in pp note it says what is being delivered, to who and for how much money. I have our communication in skype though i'm not sure that will really help. He said he does not have an account here. Just in case paypal does not give me the chance to say my part of the story i immediately sent mail to their support regarding this issue and explaining the situation.

So i have 2 questions , first can I publish the guys name, skype and paypal email here just to warn everyone else in future not to mess with this guy, and second do you have any advice on how to handle the situation on paypal, so that i would win the dispute and get my money?

ps the note on paypal via payment looks like this(i'm really hoping paypal will take this into consideration that the payment was valid):

The transaction was set on hold, and now when i logged in i see its no more on hold and that it is already returned to the scammer or it is taken off my account. It says Chargeback Settlement, without even asking the other side, what the ****?

It appears to be Spitzy, a well known scammer here. He apparently this paypal and used it to pay me.

hello, if he send you payment using friend/family, you don't need worry about dispute/claim

you just need worry if he chargeback, friend/family only be reversed if he call bank and chargeback from there

just make sure are you received the payment friend / family?

you can check it by using this https://www.paypal.com/activity/payment/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <fill xxx with transaction ID>

you will see goods/service or friend/family from there

if it's goods/service you can say that you will loss the account and dispute alr

if you are the first owner of account, you always can contact support, as long you remember when you register, you always can try recover it




to avoid dispute for delivering intanginble items / virtual items you will need this informations :
1. IP Address or National ID Card of your buyer
2. Proof of delibery that you send your product to paypal email buyer, so example if on your paypal show up the buyer email to use pay is [email protected], you need send the account information from your paypal email to that [email protected]
3. Your buyer paypal need to be verified first, to check if your buyer verified or not you can use that above activity/payment/<transaction ID> this will show up your buyer paypal account verified or unverified

Thanks for your answer, though it seems he did a chargeback, they didn't even ask me anything just took money from me and gave it to him. sent me an email and were like no sellers protection, unauthorized transaction, money returned was a mistake, case closed.

Btw for future cases how can i find out ip address or national id card of my buyer?

Definitely was a chargeback from a stolen pp acc..

He had probably cashed out a stolen paypal or credit card. Regardless of whether it's f&f, you lose 100% of the time when that happens.

you need them to provide it for you if national id card, not all buyer will do that

if IP Address, you can just create free wordpress or free blogspot and get IP from there
