$3 per k is usually what you might get from some desperate seller, but usually the average person will be spending $5-6

Also, no matter the cost of this item in gold or cash, it is still a ridiculous amount. I would understand if this were for an account...but this much money (or gold) for a single item...

Also, like Cheats said, Shadowmourne is extremely easy to get as it is...not to mention how easy it will be when we are all 85...and Blizzard is sill discussing letting Shadowmourne be completed in 10m because of the new raid system..

Lol It's pretty simple if you're not interested don't buy it? I've gotten my 10th set of Shadowmourne BoE's I've either sold Shadowmourne for 500$+ for just SM and kept the BoE's and Sold the Tabard and Mount for 250-350$ a piece. Just keep in mind you can sit there and say why would anyone spend so and so amount on so and so item and oh wow 250$ is a rip off but chances are everyone who is posting has played this game for a few years so you've invested far more than 250$ + Time sooo again If you aren't interested don't post.

and anyone with enough gold to buy those dosent buy it, I'll tell you that.

 

It's actually not really that bad a price. When you figure at a MINIMUM, these items are going for 100k gold, that amount of gold would cost you 400-500 dollars. It just seems like more when it's put into monetary value rather than snatching one out of /2.
