Selling currency question

Not sure if this anyone is going to respond to this but I figured I'd try.

In an MMO I play, I have an excessive amount of currency. It is my main account something that I'd be heartbroken if I got banned.

The "easy" method of making said currency takes... ages to set up. Considering it was my main and I wanted to raid extensively, having enough currency to do so was worth the effort. At that point I got a bit... addicted(?) to the amount of currency I was making. Considering my currently financial situation, it dawned on me that I might selling said currency could be rather lucrative in the end. However, I'm not entirely sure of the safest way to do so. I figured it would be to set up an entirely different subscription on an entirely different account from the one that mine is linked to. However, with the amount of time and energy it takes to get it to where I'd be able to put out the kind of currency I am able to make now could possibly take months. Especially if I am going to have it, in no way, associated with my main account.


So my question becomes this: is there some way to go about this in a relatively safe manner?

I have scoured several forums for some kind of "guide", I guess, and I understand why I couldn't find one. Why fuel the competition? Why give them secrets on how to be successful in such an endeavor? However, I figured I'd take a chance posting this here to see if anyone could provide some insight into my dilemma. Though I'm assuming I am probably correct about having to start from scratch, create the new "selling" account, and work from there in order to keep my main account safe.

If that's the case, how do you keep the selling account moderately safe? Obviously if you're constantly sending gold to small, under geared accounts that start giving said gold to OTHER accounts, it could easily be traced back to your gold making account. Thus causing THAT one to be banned and having to start from scratch once again. This seems nearly impossible to maintain on an individual basis.

Any kind of suggestions would be of incredible help to me. Even if it's a link to a "guide" I might have missed.

Well, there's always a risk involved with RMT. Making alts and trading on low levels/new chars always poses a risk. It's always good to have a main and alt account. I prefer to use my alt account to RMT on.

Don't talk about anything in-game to prevent proof, for all they know you're helping someone out or giving to a friend.

The alt account that you're talking about, is that the account where you actually make the currency or just the one that you trade it from??

It could be both depending on if you want to spend the time to make a mule that looks like a main. For the game I play that only takes a week or maybe less, so it's not such a big deal. What game is it?
 
Ugh, as much as I would love to set up an alt that looks like a main, it would take an eternity unless I bought a shell account and just worried about getting to level cap and then power leveling my crafting classes via my actual main. Though even that would take quite awhile... smh. Stupid crafting
 
id there's an auction house, just have the client put something up on it and buy it that way to transfer gold
