Okay, So this seems a little ignorant, but im really contemplating it, I think i may be getting scammed, but im having troubles putting the dangers together here.
For sale, i have my t6 mage and t5(ish) warrior, same account, really nice account, 5000g+ etc etc etc.
Okay, Website customer service person messeges me stating that they will buy my account.
I tell them buyout is 800$, via western union.
They say, and i quote "At this time we can offer $1000.00 for your account. If you choose to accept this offer then you will need to have a Western Union account to receive the funds. You will also need Full Name on the account, Secret Question and Answer, access to Email on the account, Username, and Password. If you have CD-KEYS, $20.00 will be added on to your total. For our security we require all information before the funds are released into your Western Union Account.. NOTE: We will ONLY use Western Union to pay for your World of Warcraft account"
So im like, uh... yeah no. Not on those terms, Im not giving out the SQA and cdkey and all that good stuff before i get my money.
and he counters stating " Ok, but we will need ; Email Adress of Account change, Full name, Password and Account name. You can keep SQA/CDKEY till the end of transaction "
So... Im like.. hmmm...
(Now maybe im just bbeing blind atm, it's quite possible, it is going on 5am.)
So i say.. "Yes, this is true, however if i give you Email adress of account change, full name, password, and account name right this second, you could change all info, and take every item / gold/ etc off the account untill i contact blizzard to be able to change my account info."
So he counters one final time with.. "Our manager says : Account of name and Password with full name will be ok, we will ask CDkeys/SQ and SA + Email after transaction. You can be 100% safe then."
So, my question is... What do i have to lose here? 5000g? yes. Some items that arent soulbound? Yes. They could never send the money via western union... And i'd be screwed...
I'm just scared, iono what to do.. THis is my first time selling, and btw, ONLY time selling, i'm trying my best not to get scammed.
