I'm reproposing a question I had, by giving a clearer context and deleting the previous thread I opened.

I had a thread, now deleted (warning issued), in which I tried to sell a The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross linked account, stating that I wasn't going to share my personal email linked to the account.
The rule I broke is the following:

(unfortunately I don't have a link for this post, nor was I able to find it through forum search, hence the screenshot provided by a mod)

But I feel like it's fair to discuss what it means to secure an account, since it's not a black-and-white situation as the rule depicts.

On The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, later 7DS, you have 4 ways, which can be used simultaneously, to link an account: Platform specific (Google Play / App Store), Email account, Facebook and Sync Code.
- Platform specific : an account created through Google Play Store / App Store;
- Email account : a Netmarble account that can be created in-game, it needs an e-mail and password (optionally also a recovery e-mail)
- Facebook : a Facebook account
- Sync Code : alpha numeric code and password that can be set in game

Technically, only an account linked with Sync Code only can be considered "securable" (and this is the case of an unlinked account) - for any other combination, be it Sync Code + Email / Sync Code + Google and so on, the seller could recall their Google / App Store / Facebook / Email account and kick out the buyer.

On 7DS, it's impossible to unlink any kind of account previously linked.
The Sync Code and Password can be changed, but any other login, through other linked accounts, would terminate the current session.

Here's where the grey area starts.

I understand that, for a fully linked account, the account can be secured only if the seller shares the pieces of information needed to secure all the other accounts as well.
But if we're considering partially linked accounts ? (i.e., Google/App Store or Facebook link still open)

I'm of the opinion the account can be secured even by not giving complete access to the other linked accounts.

If there's one or more linking options open, then the buyer can link one of their personal accounts.

I'm going to consider my situation in particular, as that's what I need help with.

In my account, the Facebook linking option is still open - on top of that, Netmarble (through the Email account) provides an option to block login from different devices.

The buyer would receive Sync Code + Password (to log into the account) and Netmarble account + Password.
It's important to clarify that Netmarble account means e-mail used to create the account, but it doesn't imply that I would be sharing the login information to that e-mail - the reason being, the buyer would secure the account by linking their personal Facebook account and by blocking login from different devices (which also require to change Netmarble account password in-game).

One last thing I'm aware of is:
Q: "What if the seller then decides to log in using one of their linked account?"
A: "The buyer would log back in using one of their linked account and the seller would be banned for account recalling"
And the "looping" scenario (seller/buyer logging in back and forth), is, in my opinion, on the same level of the seller recalling an account when sharing all their linked account details: possible of course, but it's a risk the buyer takes as with any other linked account.

Considering everything I've stated above, can my thread be reinstated ?
Also, some constructive criticism on my claims would be gladly appreciated, whether you agree or disagree.

Many games have multiple linking options and when it comes to selling an account, for safety reasons the new owner needs to be able to secure all options.

All links need to be unlinked, this way the new owner can link their own accounts.
Some games don't allow unlinking. In these cases, the linked accounts have to be included in the sale and given to the buyer.

For example. If an email is linked to game. If the email can't be removed or changed, then the email account has to be given to the buyer. It doesn't matter if it's an email, Facebook or something else. It has to be either unlinked or given to the buyer.

If neither is possible, then the account is not sellable. The account can never be safely secured by the buyer, so it's not safe and should not be sold.
