Scammer - Toonvendor Holding my money and not giving to me......

Hi, john here seems to not want to give me MY MONEY for the toon he sold for me...... I have been having really hard times in life and havent been able to be on the computer much. anyways long story short i bought an account from him .... he sold to me i then asked him to sell for me he said ok. He found a buyer and he wired the money through to him, he had my cell number and what not aswell as email and instead of email me or calling me.... he takes the account back. To give to the guy, when i clearly told him to let me know when you find a buyer to take authenticator off... so he did that anyways the total price i got for the toon was 1350 and i told him i wanted 1050 and he can keep rest for doing this for me..... so he said paypal i said i needed western union to pay for a ticket i had recieved and bills. he said no then eventually i worked with him and got him to do WU but he wanted me to scan my ID and sign a document that he drafted up .... and i did not think this was necessary for a repped user like me..... So i asked him for paypal and he said no... because he felt like he wasted his time. I NEEDED MONEY FOR MY TICKET AND BILLS AND HE DID NOT GIVE IT TO ME WHEN I NEEDED IT THE MOST...... so i had to borrow from family members which is embarassing on my end. so all i asked him for now was 900$ paypal so i can pay back them tomorrow. and He is declining .... all i want is my money from my account i have aim logs aswell, he earns money off this deal but i think he is being stubborn. ALL I WANT MMOBAY IS MY MONEY VIA PAYPAL OF THE AMOUNT 900.00 USD. Thanks !

What are the forms for? He sold you the WoW account first, so he should already have everything he needs for that account. Seems like a bunch of BS to me having you fill out forms and provide ID for an account that he original had. I don't understand it.

Alright this is a bit sticky of a situation here from start to finish. Trevor asked me to sell this warrior for him because of some family emergency, so I decided to help him out and sell it for him. Warrior sold not an issue. I contacted Trevor asking to pay him multiple times and it usually resulted in a dead end of sorts. The first time I asked him, he disappeared for the rest of the day. I was willing to do both Western Union & PayPal at this point.

So I did a little bit of a background check, and didn't like what I heard about his issue with account's safety. Which led me to tell him I'll only give him PayPal or Store Credit, I don't feel comfortable doing Western Union. So Sunday night ends with him simply demanding Western Union and me telling him that I'd need him to fill out legal documentation if I was going to trust him with Western Union because of his background history.

On Monday he agrees to fill out all of the documentation in full and have it emailed to me in order to receive the compensation I spent time to accomodate for him.

Thursday was just an argument between me and him in which I said that we agreed on Western Union as a method of payment already and that he would sign, date, and submit the forms to my Email.

Understand that I felt I was dealing with a reputable user, yet he wouldn't send me Western Union when he bought an account from me, and now he demands me to pay him via Western Union? In order to accomodate that shady request, I simply want him to fill out the legal documentation he already agreed to. To ensure that he doesn't do something to the account like he has in the past with other top end accounts. I regret assisting him to begin with before a complete background check, but whats done is done.

As far as him claiming that he "needs the money to pay bills," this has been a very very common excuse in the past. I'm linking three instances over the course of the past week where he was openly looking to purchase another account, despite his claimed "money troubles". Though I don't think its clearly relevant, I do think it reveals to us what type of character Trevor truly is through his over willingness to fabricate stories.

I'm 100% willing to pay Trevor by Western Union as he demanded despite him only sending money to me via PayPal. He agreed to have those forms signed, dated, and submitted back to me due to account security concerns.

I am not going to sign a form for a virtual good paper... when its already illegal to do that were not protected either way... id rather just take the paypal and finish this deal. You earn money off this, which is why i dont know why you wont paypal me the TOTAL 900.00 USD. and we can finish this ......

And i am not trying to buy a new account....... I needed money before for my bills and ticket i had gotten... so i had to resort to asking relatives.... which dont get me wrong was embarassing on my end..... so all i want is my 900 to pay them back

For a contract to be enforceable, it must involve a legal activity. The law does not enforce contracts based on illegal activity. For example, a winner of a poker game usually cannot go into court and enforce an IOU in a state in which that type of gambling is illegal.

Just sign it and get this over with.

O ok then i am sorry you should have stated because people can receive infractions for posting on scammer threads not being involved. I mean i like this guy just i dont like how he is being somewhat difficult...

Either way, he's selling data which is owned by another company, that itself is illegal ( unless you have their consent ), so that "contract" isn't legally binded.
If something happens down the road, and for whatever reason you NEED that contract in court, ect, they will laugh at it and throw it away.

Im ruling in TrevorMD's favor on this. The deal was made and no mention of signing papers was included until after the account was already sold and payment was supposed to be sent. I don't know what "account security concerns" are making you have him sign a contract, but as I stated, wasn't this account yours to begin with, so don't you already have all the info needed to recall. Why do you need his info?

Also, please PM me about these "account security concerns" you have as trevors rep is perfect and I fail to see why he needs to sign anything.

MMOBay.net, in no way am I implying anyone is a scammer here, but you of all people should know rep means nothing.
It looks good and all, but numerous "high rep / perfect rep" people have been shot down in the past, due to using rep as a cloak, to scam innocent people.
Again, please don't take this the wrong way, it's just a question.
