I believe I've almost been scammed by some duo consisting of a buyer and a fake middleman.
The buyers name is "Mateo" and skype id is "mateo.crazyshotsftw".
The fake middleman name is "Middle Man From Crusader! 5$" and skype id is "smurfyos".
He tried to scam my league account which I was selling.
I asked the buyer to post on my thread in which he said he didn't have an account or any rep (which was where the fake middleman came in to play)
Strike one.
I tried asking the middleman for rep in which he said he didn't have any yet because he "needed 20 trades before Masked Crusader gives him his own page".
Strike two.
Later, the middleman told me the buyer already paid him the full $145 + $5 fee and they were waiting on me for the account info.
Strike three and you're out.
Nobody will ever pay the middleman before the buyer and seller both confirms on the deal especially such a big amount.
Also, we were never in a group chat on skype, just seperate.
The middleman started cursing at me after I deleted both of them from my skype after I told them I knew they were scammers.
I've been scammed before and this time these two (or one) have just been caught red handed.
