I've recently listed my ffxi account for sale at playerauctions.com and received a message from this guy claiming he was interested in buying. His account there is Absolutezero, member since Apr-22-2009. Email [email protected] I'm unaware of his user name here. He urged me to steer away from playerauctions.com, saying that he didn't trust it. He refused to exchange information such as name or address, but demanded that I let him see my state ID. Long story short, this guy is shady to the 10th degree. I have no definitive proof that he is scamming people, but sellers need to be aware of him, for his tactics are suspiciously incriminating. I'm posting the entire dialogue I've held since first coming into contact with him. The following from here will be pasted PM's and MSN conversations.

The most I can do is no more than $3700.00. I've been recently paid and have enough to cover the expenses both either paypal and or western union. However, for your benifit you can save a deal of money selling the account with the use of middle man as playerauctions charges you a 10-15% comission fee (and their new update costing you 5% insurance fee for protection). Playerauctions only carries out screening protection (auto mated system to insure you did deliver the info) but no inspection, which I still have my doubts.
When you have the chance, let's discuss this further on messenger online as I have a lot to ask about the account. Again, my email is [email protected], I am online occasionaly working on my papers at home in the evening and or late night Est. It would save the trouble sending PMs back and forth.

The most I can do is no more than $3700.00. I've been recently paid and have enough to cover the expenses both either paypal and or western union. However, for your benifit you can save a deal of money selling the account with the use of middle man as playerauctions charges you a 10-15% comission fee (and their new update costing you 5% insurance fee for protection). Playerauctions only carries out screening protection (auto mated system to insure you did deliver the info) but no inspection, which I still have my doubts.
