Hello guys, I am a first time EpicNPC user and I was looking to purchase a WoW Account through here. After browsing a little bit, I was quickly drawn to PastGamer's thread since it was sticky'd under "Private Server WoW Accounts". I proceeded to adding this user on Skype and we negotiated a price on an account I was very interested in. We finally agreed on a price, used email to confirm, and I sent this user $100 via Paypal. Shortly after, this user claimed to send the account information via email.

PastGamer proceeded to saying he was "hurrying" on sending me this email and eventually logged off from Skype completely cutting off communication.

Hey skeleton, I am sorry to see that you got scammed, however please check who did you add on skype. That is not my account.
In every topic you can find a button to add me directly on skype which you did not use. Next to that if you paid close attention to username you would see it is way different than mines.
Next to that I tend to encourage people to contact me via forum PM to confirm skype add.

Dispute your payment with paypal and be more careful next time.

Good luck with dispute to retrieve your money.
I'd suggest you to be very detailed in PayPal dispute if you open it, starting with first message.

Always confirm identity before proceeding with a transaction. There is always someone pretending to be any high repped member. I personally have 2 imposters now and had a handful of others.
The skype profile must match the user not the display name as well. Always look for interposed letters or numbers.
