epicnpc user Furries6969 originally offered me a plat 5 LOL account and linked me his account, but removed it from the chat after the deal was supposedly done. (imgur below)

He then agrees to verify it after I send the steam code (imgur below) (we agree later not to use a middleman)

We then come to an agreement for a price (A 20 dollar Steam Card, 25 Dollar Dunkin Donuts Gift Card, and 15 dollars worth of steam games/items gifted to his account **I Also agree to go first**) (imgur below)

He gives me his summoner name, and once again removes it afterwards (imgur below)

He then specifically says he wants DOTA 2 items which I agree to (imgur below)

He then decides to offer me a gold 5 account with more champs/skins **FOR THE SAME PRICE** which I express interest in (imgur below)

**Heres the account traded to me- elophant.com/league-of-legends/summoner/na/45202814

He then once again agrees to verify the account after I send the codes/items (imgur below) (he also gave it a temporary password so I can log onto it)

He then gives me the temporary user/pass to the account so I can log onto it. (imgur below)

Another agreement to the price (imgur below)

http://i.imgur.com/17HW2zh.jpg

I send him the dunkin donuts card and the steam card (we agreed to send dota items after he verified it with my account).

Him agreeing to recieve dota items **after** he verified the LOL account - http://i.imgur.com/EPTGR9i.jpg

He goes offline, without verifying the account with my email, and stops responding to my skype messages. (imgur below)

I try again today, still no response- http://i.imgur.com/JEFh7PF.jpg

Proof that the account is not verified with my email - http://i.imgur.com/pUPs7fg.jpg

As you can see, that is not the email that I provided him with.

He also logged into the account and played a game of teemo with teleport and smite. elophant.com/league-of-legends/summoner/na/45202814/recent-games

**I am assuming it was the seller logging onto the account however I cannot be sure**

Whoever it was also deleted all friends that were added on the account, as well as delete runes/masteries.

**I still have access to the account, the password is the same temporary one he provided me with**

Even with access, it is still a scam attemp because the account does not belong to me due to the email being verified with the seller.

Banned - scammer - https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/914453-Possible-scammer-Furries6969
From the pictures, the skype that is shown is not me. I even had bought an account from Sakura before perhaps they can verify my skype? I have not spoken to this person before, but it seems as though you may have been scammed by an imposter as the skype name is similar to mine, don't know why anyone would impersonate me, but I have no idea. Also I am interested in the summoner name you were provided since it may be one of the accounts I am currently selling (Plat V).

Mad long ago but I did have a successful transaction with Sakura before on my skype.

Very sorry about that Furries. For some reason I had bookmarked your profile, and the person who added me was from EpicNPC. Completely my bad. He never metnioned his name on EpicNPC but maybe one of the mods can help identify the user given the skype?

Ok so I checked my history and can confirm that I was scammed by an imposter if furries is telling the truth. The user removed the link to the post which he claimed was his - http://i.imgur.com/q3SaPxd.jpg

This post- https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/888070-Selling-Plat-V-S4-5-6-7-Rune-Pages-52-Champions-Cheap

The post is the link to the plat 5 account which furries is selling. I see the post in my browser history on the day of the trade, and remember clearly it being that post. Im guessing their is no way to track down this imposter? Im guessing it was just a temporary skype considering he has been offline ever since the transaction (unless he just blocked me). Maybe cross reference search with his skype? Wierd thing is that he has yet to change the password so i still have access yet he is constantly logging on and removing friends. Maybe the account doesnt actually belong to redstorm729? Any help would be great.

There is no one here using the Skype redstorm729 and when I check a Skype resolver I'm unable to get an IP. Unfortunately it does not appear we'll be able to find anything. Sorry.

Understandable. What really wierds me out about this is that the owner has yet to change the password so I still have access to the account, however it is verified under his email. Thanks for trying to help.

UPDATE: I logged onto the account today and found that the owner had added some friends to the account. I decided to message one of them and see if he knew the owner. He did and he told me that the reason why the owner did not verify it was because he forgot the email associated with the account. I believe this to be true because that would explain why he has not changed the password of the account. (IMGUR BELOW)

Is their anyway to verify an account of which the email associated with it was forgotten? This is still considered scamming because he never mentioned that he did not know the email credentials. Any help would be great.

If the "real owner" is saying he doesn't know the email, most likely he's no the original owner. If he really did forget the email, the original owner could just contact Riot support to change it. Since this person can't most likely he's not the OO.

I would suspect this account is stolen and the OO will eventually recall it, so I won't not even bother trying to use or secure it.
