All chat / correspondences were done through EpicNPC private chat. I am unsure if a mod will read them or if I should post them, this is my first report and first trade (great track record so far), so please let me know if I can do any more here. I am aware I should have not just given him money without using a middle man or something and I know there is not much that can be done, I just don't want anyone else to get scammed by him.
@yureiix requested Steam Funds for his Charged OG code, $30 worth. Since we were not Steam friends for 3 days, we decided we could add the funds to his wallet using the Steam market. He listed a "FAMAS | Colony (Minimal Wear)" for $34.50 ($30.00 in his wallet after fees, which I offered to cover). User received the money (and acknowledged that he did), then sent me a pre-redeemed code and ghosted me seconds after, without even bothering to so much as follow up, leading me to believe that this was completely intentional and premeditated.

The user disappeared within seconds after getting my money and giving me the fake code, leading me to believe this was again, intentional.
User also claimed he had "3" of this code, yet in his thread he clearly states he only has 2. The code usually sells for $100+, so I guess when something is too good to be true, it usually is. Not a hard lesson to learn for thirty bucks, but it's a bummer.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can add. I know again that there is nothing that can be done to get my money back, I just don't want him doing it to anyone else. $30 doesn't bother me, him potentially scamming others does.
