What was scammed? A League of Legends account

Describe how you were scammed: The deal was that we would trade LoL accounts, I had a higher rating elo. The scammer had a much much lower ranked elo but with more champions unlocked which was why I was interested in trading. He had shown me the account over Skype screen share previously to show that it was legit. We then proceeded to exchange the accounts, we both changed usernames but when it came to changing the passwords he wanted to check the account first. He said he could not access the account (which I knew was not a problem as I changed the password to a simple one) he then said there was a problem, in the chat he then admitted that he had seen the account because he had seen the champions available on my account which was less than he expected (he was trading for the rating not the champs unlocked which I made clear). The password was then changed by him and he then logged off without giving the account back to me or giving the account that was to be exchanged. Upon messaging him via website, he said he had no idea what I was talking about.

Did you do any background searching before the transaction? Like I said I had him screen share a Skype call to show his account was legit, other than that no research was done.
Have you traded with this person before? No
Approximately how many transactions have you done on EpicNPC? None, this was to be my first
