It's Dota2/Steam related. He has a shop and he sells accounts. I'll tell my story shortly, then I'll attach the proofs.
He added me on Skype, with an offer to buy my account I'm selling https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/916...4D2-TWAU-!!!-99-USD-!!!?p=4797272#post4797272 . I agreed NOT to use a middleman since he is a veryficated seller on NPC. To prove that, he sent me a message here on NPC.


Strange, huh ? This is the first message he sent to me. Of course I gave the info about the acc - name,pass,email,emailpass.
He was using Skype name which is not the same as the one he has given in his shop though.


That made me sure at the end, that this guy is trying to SCAM people by using fake profile of himself. MASTER PLAN, except for this, that he was sending a message from his MAIN NPC account. WTF ?!.
-His skype is unreachable, my Steam Account is with changed password, but the Google Acc related with the Steam account is with the same pass. BUT he deleted all Steam related messages in the account.
Our conversation stuck on Veryfication Email from Steam, which I didn't know what is that by then, anyways.

You do realise thats not the correct skype for this user. thats a comma not a period. That is an imposter. They have a picture in their thread of their correct skype. contact users here before a sale to confirm an identity not after.

its common for an imposter to get a user to message you to scam you by tricking them into thinking its you

I think that you didn't read the whole post, sir! In one of the pictures and if you go thru the conversation, you'd see that the SKYPE PERSON is texting me in NPC as well. How is that possible if they are not the same person ?

I don't see why you have to call the judge for this issue. It's more than obvious that this NPC account is sending me a text, confirming a trade in Skype. Even if the skype name is DOOMLICKER69 he sends a message HERE, there is screenshot. Check my mails, it's only his, check the time if you want. But this guy now has my account for free, after he used NPC to gain my trust. This is the stupiest scam I've ever seen and you are going to tell me that it's legit ?!

They are not working together. You got tricked by scammer. scammer used a normal skype to get hishiq to pm you. then scammed you on his imposter skype.

Its not our fault you did not use the add skype button in his post or verify its the correct skype, by the big picture in his thread that warns of imposters.

You will need to recover your account via steam. Next time do not deal with a person on skype that does not match the one they posted.

I have recieved additional proof from hschiq that a user added him claiming to be you and had him pm you. that user then scammed you on his second skype

This is what happened.

Scammer has 2 skypes.

Scammer impersonates you and contacts hschiq on Skype
Scammer impersonates hschiq and contacts you on skype
You ask the scammer on skype to send you a message on Epicnpc
On skype, the scammer then asks hschiq to send a PM to your account
You receive this PM and now assume you're talking to the real hsciq when in fact you are not

This is a common scam method and only works if no one bothers to look at the skype usernames, which in this case is obviously what happened.

You can't send or accept messages that say "It's me on skype" That does not confirm anything.

You have to say something like "I'm talking with you, username, on my skype account which is myusername.

The person can then quickly look at the usernames and see if they match. This is the only way to confirm who you're talking to off-site.
