No need for an active dispute as there is nothing EpicNPC can do, just wanted to post the information regarding the scam to help others avoid it in the future.
Received an email from [email protected] (Yes, with 3 c's, I can't believe I missed it.) The name of the sender is N. Steph (Later discovered to be [email protected], an already banned EpicNPC scammer who used to go by Based Prez.)
The email detailed interest in my account and listed the Skype name "accountwarehouse.com"
This scammer actually owns the Skype username "accountwarehouse.com" while I learned after the fact that the true accountwarehouse.com Skype is simply "accountwarehouse" without ".com"
Once added, the name shows as "T ." This fake Skype profile lists accountwarehouse.com's actual EpicNPC member page as his "contact info"
He proceeded to request that I turn all my account information over before receiving payment because accountwarehouse.com has a 99.1% positive feedback rating on EpicNPC, and they have trustworthy reviews all over the internet. Once my account information was surrendered I received this message:
There were several suspicious red flags throughout the conversation, and the only reason I continued to go through with the deal was because I was sure I was talking to the real accountwarehouse.com and they were rated so trustworthy. (As I would imagine they are.) Just wanted to shed some light on this scam and hopefully protect others, as well as point out the fact that accountwarehouse.com is at risk of having their reputation damaged by this phishing scam. Lesson learned, RIP my Championship Riven Account.
