Was Trade Guardian used? No
If yes, what is the Trade Guardian ID?
What is the dispute about?
Paid the “seller” by purchasing a Door Dash gift card worth $40 since his PayPal didn’t work - he was locked out of it apparently. He gives me the details of the Xbox account which were incorrect. He tells me to try again with a different account email and it doesn’t work either. Note that on both times, the linked email listed at the bottom when you are prompted with “Forgot password?” were completely different to what he told me his email was. Said he contacted Microsoft Support, he only tells me then that he SOLD the account to someone PREVIOUSLY and got it back, makes up a sob story about how they tried to log in hundreds of times and got it blocked. Said there will be a reply from support “account unlocking specialist” within 24h. After 24h, he’s been online seen a few of my messages but refuses to reply and eventually does a disappearing act
Other details / notes: He tells me he pre ordered new games from a long time ago using gift cards, but doesn’t mention them in any of his older posts. I have also noticed that before making initial contact with him, he was last seen 2 months ago so it is possible he may have done this to another person
