Save Threads as Drafts

A new option has been added to allow members to save threads as Drafts if they're not ready to post the thread yet.

You can also find this link in the Tools menu at top.

To save a draft, simply create a thread as normal and at the button there's a new option to "Save as draft".

It doest take you to the draft, it makes you start over and there is no publish no option when you click on the draft title, it just takes you back to square one, the programmer needs to improve this, I spent an hour on the draft now can't access it, no publish or edit or open button

I'm unable to replicate any of your problems.

1) When I save a draft, it appears on my saved draft page.

2) When I click the draft, it shows everything I previously typed.

3) At the bottom of the draft is a "Submit New Thread" button to publish the thread.

Please explain the exact steps your taking so I can better investigate.

that was a feature on the older version of the site. It's no longer available.

Drafts save automatically now, so there's no need to save. If you go back to the page where you're replying or posting a new thread, it will load whatever you previously typed if you left and didn't finish.

hi sorry to revive this, but do posts still automatically save as drafts? i can't seem to figure out the answer and i don't want to accidentally lose what i was typing

If you accidentally close a window while replying, then reopen that same link, your post will appear in the reply box. The system auto-saves every few seconds, so you might be missing part of it, but most of it should be there.
