Safest way to receive WoW gold?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there's a safe/guaranteed way to receive a huge amount of WoW gold without getting banned.
For instance, by putting up an item in AH for 999k gold (if this trick even works anymore).

I don't have the gold yet and I don't even know what to spend it on.
I'm wondering since I usually accept WoW gold for the stuff I sell so I'd just like to know how gold sellers do it.

Theres many ways. If you have a guild bank on the server accept the gold into it. Do not let someone give you a guild bank with gold in it. High risk.

Face to face with high level toons like 110 with items in trade is relatively safe. Do not trade with a level one.


Never trade with a known traders account. Quick ban and all is lost.
Never keep a lot of gold on one account. If you use guild banks make a separate account with access to banks gold as well.
do something with account other then just hold gold. Level some toons. talk to people.
Always be courteous and low profile. Don't call attention to yourself to cause an account investigation.
don't bot with storage accounts or from same ip.
