Safest way to buy mass gold?

So, I have an interest in buying around 400-500k gold. Now I'm not looking for sellers just yet, but rather safe methods to get such a big order complete.

Should I just order small amounts over an extended period of time? Do it through a guild? yolo it up and face to face?

Was thinking about telling the buyer to buy some expensive mount (like a tcg mount) and trading it to me, where I can later sell it for the gold desired.

What do you think?

I would say buy from reputable vendor on the forums.

 

So how risky is it to buy so much gold? Is the risk any different from buying say 20k?

 

DO NOT BUY FACE TO FACE. buy it in a guild bank and have the person give you guild leader honestly safest method. and multiple trades over time is more risky because theres more transactions to get noticed
