Unnecessary payment verification for online goods

I've bought from many online stores, and have only needed to verify identity for 21+ related goods, however, this site is requiring ID verification for a 40-dollar purchase.
 
Hey Sopleb, the whole verification thing is pretty complicated, and it's not that easy to explain briefly. So, on behalf of RPGStash, we apologize for the bad experience. We get it; it's never cool to be asked for verification, but we're kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place here. Asking for verification is the only way we can keep our buyers safe from scams and protect ourselves from chargebacks.

If you want a more detailed rundown, shoot me a message in the inbox, and I'll happily share examples of situations where we chose not to ask for verification and ended up dealing with the consequences.

This could give you a better understanding of why we went through with it, and we're keeping our fingers crossed for a more positive outcome.
