Hello, I am Notice me. I sell bots for Maplestory here. On 10/16/2023, I sold a one-month subscription of my bot to Discord user Teepeee for $20.
For some reason, the bot didn't work well on his machine. After a few days, I decided to ask for a refund through his PayPal. However, he refused the refund and wanted to continue using the bot. After almost a month, he ******* and decompiled my bot, then posted on a forum, leaving feedback that I didn't help him fix the issues. At the same time, he made baseless accusations, claiming that I stole IP/HWID, installed viruses/malware on customers' computers.
Later, he publicly released my source code along with a list of customer information, affecting around 100 of my current customers. I can provide a download link for my bot and even the source code privately to the admin if necessary to prove that my bot doesn't contain any viruses or malware.
The reason I suspect this guy is deliberately sabotaging me is that a few months ago, he did something similar to Deception (another Maplestory bot seller).Ya can see it in chat log.

Firstly, I collect IP and HWID from user machines for license authentication; this is a standard practice for all licensed software.
Secondly, having auto-updates for software is common. I have never encountered software that requires manual updates by downloading new files every time there's an update. In the three months since the launch, I have pushed 60 updates to fix bugs and introduce new features. Who would want to download and reinstall manually 60 times?
Thirdly, it's natural for my bot to have a high file size because it's written in Python. Python libraries consume a significant amount of data, and I also utilize PyTorch/YOLOv8 in my software (https://pytorch.org).
Fourthly, because the bot wasn't functioning properly, I was willing to refund him, but he refused and later complained about the perceived poor quality of my service. Because the bot unable to use on his PC, he decided crack it, after crack, bot suddenly become able to use? Thats is fcking stupid reason
Lastly, publicly disclosing my customer information like this is a clear violation, adversely affecting other customers.
Summary if ya are too lazy to read: He purchased my bot, and somehow, whenever he stopped the macro, the bot crashed. This issue occurred only on his machine, and since I couldn't fix it, I offered a refund. However, he refused and insisted on continuing to use the bot. A month later, he claimed my service was poor. Subsequently, he ******* and decompiled my software, obtaining the source code. He accused me of stealing IP/HWID, despite the clear indication in the source code that it is for license verification. He also alleged that the auto-update feature was used to install viruses/malware.
Please help me find any software or game that doesn't collect IP/HWID and doesn't have an auto-update feature.
