I'm sorry my first post on this website has to be about this particular subject, but I can't see any other means to get the seller's attention regarding this particular matter.

Other information: In short, on Feb 20 I've bought an account from KH, on May 6th account got recalled by OO, Shane/KHAccounts was made aware of what was going on the same day it happened, he then confirmed what happened and told me the OO recalled it because he wanted to get back to playing, and he couldn't do anything because it's been 3 months since he got the acct from the OO, I had it for a little more than 60 days.

While I admit his website shows his 30 days recall police, I don't think this is right, I've bought the account in the end - I'm not renting it or leasing it.
When confronted regarding this matter by me, KH acknowledged that this was a screwed up situation and that he would try to make it up for me somehow, the truth is, I've been trying to contact him for a week now to try and remedy the situation, find an alternative, but I'm feeling I'm being avoided (and I know he is around, because of his posts here and his website keeps updating new accounts, some even sold).
2 days before the recall happened, I've bought another account from him, which is fine so far, but now I'm afraid it might be recalled too.
I'm a reasonable person, I believe this should be easy to work out, I just can't get a hold of the guy.

I do apologize, but I have been in the midst of finals and have been only at my computer for short periods of time.

The "100% no-recall" method was brought to my attention only about a month ago. I am not going to go back and let every single person I sold an account to know about it because I frankly do not have that kind of time.

Anyways, the account was recalled, yes. The Original Owner recalled the account and had absolutely no qualms about it.

Once I had found out about this, I told the OP that I would work with them on a new account purchase whenever they wanted. The OP apparently was not satisfied with that given the expense of the account.

So, it has been almost 3 months since the account was sold (sold on 2/20 and recalled on 5/6) and I am responsible for the security of the account still? If after the almost 3 months, you have not found a way to secure the account, I am really failing to see how this is my fault.

It is just like my warranty states --

We cover all of our accounts for a 30 day period. In our experience, that is when 99% of recalls happen. After the 30 day period, we will still assist you in getting the account back (if you did not resell or trade it - posting it for sale or trade voids the warranty as well), but no compensation will be given.

During the coverage period of 30 days, if we come to the conclusion that a recall has occurred, you will be given a store credit for the amount paid for the account. We do not give cash refunds.


If for any reason we find out that the account was not recalled or that you were negligible with the account, no compensation or retrieval assistance will be provided.

People see my warranty when they purchase things, but then if/when something goes wrong, they get angry. What is the point of the warranty if it does not cover the seller?

I'm sorry Shane, but this is exactly why we pay brokers, so we don't have to worry about this kind of crap you know. I'm sure I am not alone on this since you mentioned other accounts got recalled, but this isn't a very smart business practice, claim the buyer didn't "secure the account".

What's your secure method? Transfer it up and then delete the other account by maling privacy and saying you don't agree with the ToU? Newsflash, that was done on the char that got recalled.

I'm not even asking for a full refund, I'm being nice to you, while I could just call up my credit card and tell them to charge back.

So... you got your money for the sale, they got the chars back, and the only one that lost something is the buyer? What stops them for doing this again? Or you for that matter, since you left this unharmed? What asures me that this wasn't a plot so you can just sell the mage again for another idiot in a couple months?

Whatever works man, like I said, I'm trying to be reasonable, but if in a few days this doesn't get worked out, I will in fact call up my bank and make them charge this back.
And for these issues even if it's an intangible good Paypal will fight for their money, be sure of that.

10 grand my balls shane, idc if I get banned for posting where I'm not "allowed" this site is falling apart and its people like you that get greedy and your business is just shady in general, your whole warranty system and the fact that you just admitted yeah they waited to recall to "protect me" so pretty much whoever can recall there account as long its outside your warranty period and you get off scott free. right. You aren't out to do good business with good people you're a greedy individual and karma is gonna get you eventually, you've been banned how many times now? with more chances than anyone I can think of off hand, if you didnt have "status(lol)" you would have been perma banned a long time ago, but for whatever reason you just keep getting chances when the things you do and the way you conduct yourself is blatantly wrong. Go ahead mike, delete this when you see it give me an infraction and ban me for posting where I shouldnt but thats why things like this go unnoticed and keep happening, people dont care enough to stand up for themselves and its gonna ruin this site and further destroy the community, people are just scamming left and right because there aren't any consequences for their actions. Oh ill compensate by giving you another account probably worth less than what you originally recieved from me, probably wont have an ID with it and it will just get "recalled" again 32 days later or whenever I need some money. SMH man.

I edited out the values because well, it's this guy business after all and I didn't want to leak his "margin", but for reference let's assume it's 50%, so I'm taking this with a grain of salt, taking as an example that if I were to get an account worth $1k, I'd have to rack up another $500, which would make the total amount spent on this $2350, for a $1k value account...

I will keep updating this thread as the situation develops, as I intend to get this settled before the weekend.

What's your secure method? Transfer it up and then delete the other account by maling privacy and saying you don't agree with the ToU? Newsflash, that was done on the char that got recalled.

I'm sorry if my message here is inappropriate as i have nothing to do with the scam issue, i however fail to see how you can get your data information deleted after contacting blizzard. They clearly stated that :

Please note that the deletion of your data will lead to the termination of your account and applicable services.

Therefore i do not understand how he was still able to re-claim the toon if every information regarding the account was deleted.

If you feel like this question shoulden't be here just delete it.

This is exactly what I had posted a few days ago and is basically happening here.

Why are they "protecting" you? are these your friends? Can you not see this is a straigh up scam you're involved in and actively participating in?

I would not accept any offer from KHaccount unless its for a 100% refund or an account of equal value because that is what you deserve.

Even though his account is currently closed, KHAccounts will be banned if this is not resolved in a fair manner.

Shane refunded me for a second account that I've got 2 days before the recall, while it's not a $1800 account (about $800 in the end), it's better than having to put more money to get yet another account. It's not optimal, but it's something.
The payment hasn't cleared yet, Paypal marked the clearance to the 18th, once it clears I will post here confirming.

Thanks everyone for your help on this case, this wouldn't have been "solved" if it didn't came public through this forum.
 
Ok, in the end it's up yo you what your willing to except as compensaton. Just remember to post here on the 18th so we can close this up.

Firstly i don't mind if you give me another infraction if that turns you on please do so.

So how much did KH pay for not getting banned? This is plainly ridiculous. This happend in the past and he did get banned. Than he got unbanned for god knows what reason. If you read his post he actualy said this is happening alot latly and alot of people are recalling there accounts. Gamepal used to do the same. Sell accounts and than recall them after there "safe period" was over. Now don't get me wrong but if you make a freaking living of buying and selling accounts you should also pay the consequences of this bussines. I don't see anyone buying a car to have it recalled 3 months after without getting the money back.

He is comming forward to a agreement of 800$ for a account that costed the OP 1800$. Are you kidding me? Thats the same as getting a VW in place of a Porsche ffs.

I said this would happen again and like some moronic people on this forum they laughd it away. If KH doesn't get banned it only proves what i said before. And sorry if this comes of realy offensive. Than you MIKE, are in on it. I wouldn't even be suprised if he pays you off to keep him here on the forums. I would like 50% of what KH earns this way. ( 1800 - 800 ) / 2 * ??? . Nice enough isn't it. Probably pays your site for a copple of months.
 
Please read my previous post. I agree with what you're saying, but if the buyer willing accepts the offer made, then I have to consider the dispute settled. Had he not, I would have ruled for a 100% refund as stated in my post, but since that didn't happen I'm closing this.

KHAccount remains closed.
