Hello
As more and more PokeMMO players get banned since the new aggressive ban policy of PokeMMO moderators (started in October 2023), I write a post with useful information to prevent anyone from getting "free" bans (we call free ban a fast ban for something that was foolish, and was certain to lead to a ban).
In general: keep in mind that PokeMMO moderators check EpicNPC posts on a regular basis.
If you are selling your account
- Do not provide very specific information related to your account. Typically, do not add a screenshot of your shiny pokes: moderators can search for your account using the specific shiny pokes you have. If they find your account, they will ban it straight away.
If you are providing regular services/pokeyens
- Be careful of buyers willing to get the minimum service at minimum price: PokeMMO moderators try to trade with you to know more about your methods, and identify potential former trades. Then, you and your former customers will be banned at the same time during a "ban wave".
- Face-to-face trading, mailing or GTL trading of big items or big amount of money will raise an alert on PokeMMO side, and you will get banned.
If you are buying
- Keep in mind that any form of Real Money Trading (RMT) has a very high risk of ban. Do not involve your main account in those trades.
- Never do "big" trades, you will get banned quite fast.
- Keep in mind that money sold on EpicNPC is 99% gathered using bots, even if the seller says otherwise. That's why the ban rates are so high.
- If you buy an account, wait some days before connecting to it, especially if you don't live in the same country as the seller, and do not change the email address straight away after connecting to the account, otherwise it will get banned.
