It is quite likely, that is why my rule of thumb is never buy an account you can't change the email on and show that it isn't linked to facebook/etc. (This can be seen via the Plarium Play profile of the account).

Definitely shady. Also, a fictitious email is usually provided by buying via a certain (sometimes qq emails) game site. They spoof the email on the plarium site so you're never able to A) Register the account under an accessible email and B) Retrieve your password if you ever lose it.

That is typically why these accounts are sold a lot cheaper, they're not secure and hold no real value.

 

Just a heads up, was talking to him and he replied fairly rapidly. As soon as I mentioned I wouldn't go first, but I would use middleman, he stopped replying
