Questionable Buyer? Possible scam?

Been working on a deal for the past 2 days with a guy on aim, he hasn't posted in my thread but we have spoken extensively to work out a deal. As of now we are set to go ahead tomorrow at some point with a deal of:

$550 Western Union for my rogue

the only kicker is he wants the log in information before he sends the money, just the account name and password.

However sketchy that may look he said that I could hold the gold from the account on an alternative account until I had the money. So essentially no permanent damage could be done. Makes it seem more legitimate to me.

Tbh I wouldn't, if you can show him in game and prove you own it. Why should you give the login info first, It's like going into a shop to buy candy, they aren't gonna let you taste the candy first and then pay for it.

I used a very similar analogy when speaking with him before but he is worried I won't give him the info once he does pay. Like most people dealing with western union I suppose

only the positive and negative feedbacks mean anything (numbers in green and red) everything else has no implication of the legitimacy of the user

well,before i make a deal,i would like to get as mucn as information of the other party.since we do biz on the dummy soil here.i must make sure the reliability of the trader and then build biz relationship.i think it is good for both parties to do this first.
