Question concerning unmerging b.net

So my friend had quit months ago so I asked if it was ok with him if i could merge the account with mine. He said ok.

Now after a while he was bored so I told him to simply call blizz and say that his account was merged to b.net not under his name and get them to restore. They are in the process of it now.

Now here is my question... Will my main account get banned for this? or will they just let it slide?

Usually they just unlink it, you should be good.
