Question about selling an account

Hello,

Are there any standard procedures I am to take before listing an account? Is it as simple as listing what the characters have, etc and going from there?

I just read the Probable Scam thread and learned that PayPal is not the way to go when selling.

Some tips and advice would be greatly appreciated before I take the time to list my characters.

Just take your time finding the right buyer, if the game requires an armory like wow, use an anonymous armory service to share links.
Use a verified middleman off the forums and you'll avoid most issues.

"Off the forums" was misleading. Got really confused for a second, and then understood. You should change it to "on the forums" or "through the forums."

Excellent. I will get verified before I proceed with listing the account. Also, I read in the thread Safe buying selling and trading and saw that there are reputable/professional sellers than can appraise my account. Is there anyone recommended for the task?

Ofcourse you should use a middleman to avoid the scammers.
