Question about buying gold

I just wanted to ask if anyone had any info on buying gold.Ive heard you cant easily get banned buying gold and i justed wanted to know how safe it is and whats the safest way todo it when collecting the gold.

Well auction house is pretty safe I heard, but they take away 10% I think of your transaction.

yeh just want to make sure i wont get banned just for buying gold would be a waste.Wondering if anyone has had been banned buying or on the reverse have bought alot of gold and never been banned

Auction house is not a safe way to transfer gold. The safest way I've seen is guild bank transfers but I haven't seen any websites offering this so the next safest way is face to face transfer. Make 100% sure that the company you buy from offers face to face transfer. Also see if you can get them to trade the gold incrementally, and put something in the trade box when you accept gold (can be as little as netherweave cloth.) Finally I strongly suggest receiving the gold on your 70, not a level 1 bank toon.

All that said, blizz usually bans the person supplying the gold not the person receiving the gold, but it has happened so be careful. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

From a seller view, if I were to sell some gold should I give it to the buyer from a level 70 or a bank toon? or does it make a difference?
