What is the dispute about?
Purchased PSN account on 1-11-22. seller was very communicative and friendly. this was specifically for the ESO acct but it also included his other MMO accts as well as digital games he had purchased. i noticed that when i logged in, i was not able to download any of those digital games because he still had his PS4 as his primary device. i was not able to deactivate it since on PSN there is a 6 month timer on primary PS4 deactivations (to prevent hackers). i didnt think too much about it because i was only there for the ESO content which was as described. on 1-16-22 i got a text on my phone saying that 2-step verification was turned off on the PSN acct. afaik, there is no way to bypass this. the only way would be if Sony did it and the only way to get Sony to do that is if you file a claim that your acct was hacked and can prove your identity and give them the serial # of the primary PS4 (which was still his). i believe this is what happened.

Other details / notes:
i tried to reset the password using the email i had changed it to but it was too late...the acct was already back in the original owner's hands. it happened very fast. i tried all this within 5 mins of getting the notification text. i also tried contacting Sony support a couple times but both times once i gave my email, they came back w/ "they can no longer make any changes to this account due to security reasons" and abruptly ended the chat. a quick google search showed that is their standard response after they help recover a "hacked" acct.

Did the seller say he's the original owner? Yes, in the above chat log. also the name on the PSN acct matches the name in his Venmo acct
What account information did the seller provide you at the time of sale? login email/password and security question/answer (shown in attached chat log)
How long did you have the account before it was recalled? 5 days
If you have a support ticket about this recall, please post screenshots of it.
