We traded yesterday my priest for his warrior, everything went smooth. today I try to log on warrior and info is changed. Hese not on AIM (odd hese always online atleast?)Anyways like a dumbass i let my little cuzin use my phone and she deleted all my numbers so i lost his number

What would you of liked me to do? Everything went smooth, I gave him my info, he gave me his. It doesn't seem odd to you he hasnt logged on AIM, Markee, or Yahoo after the alleged accusation? He hasn't tried to defend himself?

You seem like a pretty active member, xbad, What would you do if someone called you a scammer on the forums? Defend yourself? Try to resolve it? Sorry I have no AIM logs, he didn't seem fishy at all. I mean he had 6+ positives, trust who verified etc etc.

And I didn't once call him a scammer, I don't and won't believe so until he tries to resolve or doesn't. To me thats all the proof you need.
 
Its easy, recall your priest, xfer him off to another account and your safe and just get over it. Btw there's a lot of scammer, and try creating another aim or ask your friend to aim him, or ask your friend to go msg him ig or to msg your priest ig if he's on
 
The priest xfer isn't up until july 1st, so I can foresee chain recalls until the priest / warrior is ban, and then what? We're both [censored] out of luck. I'd rather confront him about it and get this resolved.Worse case scenario if I don't get something in return for my priest, or warrior I will call blizzard 1000 times a day until both of them are locked. I hate to say it but I'll post in every one of his threads until we come to some sort of accord.

Where you not the OO pf the priest you traded him? It doesnt matter if you are cause half the people on here claiming they are OO are not ( I am just wondering )

And Yes CheewBakka if someone was calling me a scammer I would be on here defending myself.

But you must look from the mod/admins point of view

I mean just cause he has more pos doesn't mean he didnt scam you, but without you showing proof nothing can be done.

All I can say is monday call and recall the account and hope for the best.

I am sorry for you loss if you can't get this fixed. Trust me I have been scammed here many times. You learn your lesson, ALWAYS have your AIM Convo Logger ON. Take Screenshots of anything you think may be important. Go into every trade/buy/sell like you think the is going to scam you. Get all the info you can. I do not trust anyone on here no matter their TWV, Rep. There is always that chance of being scammed. You just have to cover your [censored].

It happens and like I said I am sorry. I myself have had 2 WoW accounts, 1 Steam account (Was low digit like 4's), a EvE Account (not the one you see me fighting with GAMEPAL_COM over) my Orig EvE account that was made in 2003.

Altho I was able to get the two WoW accounts back, I have yet to be able to get my EvE or Steam account back.
 
I appreciate it a bunch xbad, I really do! Man, I thought I did it right, I turn down anyone without positive's AND rep. Usually trust who. I don't trade all that often so i dont exactly know what to look for. Infact i can name you the people i traded.

Oh well, it's just a game I guess. Lesson learned heh.

Just remember TWV and POS doesn't mean [censored], ALWAYS Keep your proof.

I only deal with TWV AND Repped people, since all the crap Ive lost. but still I do not trust them. Alot of Greens end up going Red for some reason. Just never know.

I don't know. Personally someone with that rep and his post count, you would think he would be on here defending himself. To me thats guilty. but your right, with out aim logs all i can do is warn people.

I agree I would think he would be on here defending himself. That screams guilty from my perspective. You learn from your mistakes, don't get caught with your pants down again.

CheewBakka, I understand how devastating it may be to be scammed... but take this as a lesson that ANYONE can be a scammer. If you ever trade again or buy/sell an account - always save your information.

When I sold my account, to someone with 170 positive rep on the TWV count alone, I saved all AIM logs, and took screenshots of my paypal transactions. Why? If this person was tired of working on this site to make money or felt like spending his time elsewhere, he/she could simply file a dispute for an illegitimate product (being that it is a virtual product) and wipe the funds he transferred away from me. Then take the account and sell it again for double earnings and retire with a ban.

To be honest, it sounds farfetched, but if people can kill each other, they sure as hell can steal WoW accounts from each other. Don't trust anyone over the internet - they can claim themselves as anyone.

You guys are right, there will always be scammers. I got scammed and did the only thing anyone else would do, warn the community. "hey, I was possibly scammed by so-so, would like to get ahold of you to sort this out". You know I didn't go around saying "PROTOCALL BURN IN HELL SCAMMER" with out atleast giving him a chance to defend himself. I don't trade all that much so I didn't know the 'procedure' I mean like I said above I.. well.. for the most part trade with legit people. (or hope they are) +reps, rep pages, etc.

I don't want to turn this into a "qq i lost my account /cry" thread, but when you put time and effort and most importantly money into an account its not exactly the easiest thing to swallow.

You know, all I want is for him to contact me and get this resolved. But until then, I'm going to post in this thread every day, and keep the MD community updated.

I hear ya, I had my Main WoW account, was my account, my name on it and everything the , Had a [censored] 80 Horde Pally, Uld Geared.

Was in a hard spot at the time and didnt want to spend money on 30 more days of play time, so I payed a guy here on MD WoW Gold for 30 days of time. I payed him, got the time added, and 2 days later my account was banned. It sucked. That was my account since WoW was released!

Tried everything I could think of to get it unbanned, only to get no where. Haven't played WoW since, cause I can't stand to level anymore. So, that in mind you ever get another WoW account you want to sell get in touch with me! As long as the price is decent! lol.
 
I feel ya, in the same situation. Moneys a little tight right now and my main account's time has ran out around 20 days ago. I will not ever trade or sell that you know, just for this reason, so i have something to come back to.

dude what is your issue , this is this is protocall = aim wowmarkee2002 . I never scammed u - u just got me banned im trying to reverse it though - The OO recalled the account , i stated u facts that i got scammed .

And i was away for a bit thats why i didnot respond to you to NOW !!

U have no proof i scammed u cause i never did so why the hell am i banned this is total BS .

Do not EVER create a duplicate account again, especially while temporarily banned. That is one of the quickest ways to getting that ban to become a permanent ban. You want to do business here, you WILL follow our rules or you can go somewhere else.

wait no, i totally miss read that. Why was I told that YOU recalled the warrior and YOU traded the day it got recalled? It was told that YOU where getting scammed so you recalled it? Why are you lying, You dident log on for like a week, but when i talked to the person you traded my priest to he said you were on every day. Whats up with that [censored]? Like i told you in the other thread - The guy that has your priest does not have the email change nor the SQ/A to the account . U can get the account back very easy . Im the 1 lost out on a Account . Not You!!!

You know man i'm sorry i jumped the gun, i really am. I just try to use the most rep people i can find and take them instead and when you just went poof it got me all caught up and worried. I'm sorry. Same thing happend to me, i was away from home for a few days helping get my family moved into their new house. The reason i havent recalled priest yet is i dont want to cause a chain recall and have my [censored] recalled again just to get ban or something, i'm very cautious with my account i guess. I mean we traded legit, and you have all my info, and im sure you did same with who you traded priest with so who's to say he just recalls it back and we are again, at square one.

He can't recall your priest back , he does not have any info .

And there will be no chain recalls because i will have to pay cash to someone somewhere in this whole mess .

Example - 1 account was bought for in this cycle and i resold - so im going to have to pay this person back .

And find the main person who is causing this mess out of alot of people .

All i got to say is wow what a mess !!!
