Profile Page Update - New 'Contacts' Page!

We have released an update to the main profile page based on some member feedback. The update includes the following changes.

• New "Contacts" tab. The main profile page now has 2 tabs. Profile and Contacts.
  • Members can add links to their contact page below. You can find this link directly on the contact page or on your settings page in the left sidebar in the "customization" section.

  • Member can select from predefined categories like (Discord, FB, ect) or setup custom links.
• We have also removed the space on the left side where members posted their profile text. Previously this was just dead space.
• Large 'Contact' button has been added so members can start a chat.

The new Contacts page is available to all registered members, but in a limited way.

  • 3 links total
• Epic Member upgrade
  • 15 links total

If your upgrade expires, all links will disable (no longer display) except for the first 3 you setup.

Did my EpicMember expire? I actually forgot when I upgraded it, and where to check when it will expire.

You purchased 'Epic Verified' in 2020 and at the time that was a permanent upgrade. When we changed our upgrades, anyone who had that received the 'Epic Member' upgrade permanently.

Your account has the upgrade, but it also shows it expired, so that's why that message displays.

We'll adjust the wording for that message so it's accurate for everyone.

Which image formats are supported? Should add some information there so people know which one to use.
Are we allowed to add discord server links into contact tree? Maybe u are not aware but, discord is having 1000 friends per account limit, many sellers here get that limit within year, linking seller server would save us alot of trouble with having multiple discord accounts.


Consider to add some tab here with contact details, so its people can just follow discord links and avoid mistakes like typing wrong discord name.

Maybe this is bug, but when i want to type my discord username, its asking me for link.

Yes, at this time Discord servers are being allowed on the new contact page as well as other social media links we previously did not allow, BUT these types of links are still not allowed in threads or posts.

Because we are being more flexible on the contact page and do not want server links in posts, we're currently not planning to add the contact information on thread pages. However it has not been ruled out completely, so it's possible it could be added in the future.

Now u are just beign stubborn, allowing us to list our contact details on random page, but keeping thread page locked for our contacnt details ,on most useful page where people actually can see it and make whole transaction safer.
This update would be 10 times better if u actually added some kind of option so buyers can open our contact tree directly from thread / sale listing, without advanced coding skills. As u can see, contact details are visible nowhere.

Not saying that update is bad, its good thing, but as contact option,it should be treated as such.

Discord servers and social media group links were blocked due to spam. People were making fake sale posts or replying to many threads simply to advertise their Discord server. In addition there was a lot of chat spam for these links.

Adding a button into threads that opens the contact tree page with all the links would lead to similar abuse.

You can still post all of your contact information directly in your threads, but we do not want Discord servers or other social media groups. If people didn't spam, I'd have no problem with allowing it, but unfortunately they do.

We already do this. Members can immediately contact you with the chat button. The chat button does not appear in non-sale sections.



For now, we do not plan to add the contact links into the posts or in the thread profile areas. Again, it's not been ruled out, but we're going to see how things go for now.

If we see a high percentage of Discord servers and social media groups links, we'll probably block them and then add the "contacts" into threads. Same rules as now. No servers/groups, but you can link to your username.

If we see do a low percentage of Discord servers and social media groups links, we might add the "contacts" into threads without any further changes.
