Hey MD --

I am thinking of starting to do some powerleveling, but how can you defend against chargebacks? They are already a pain selling accounts and atleast your able to defend somewhat against those chargebacks -- ie not giving all info until later, sending them the info etc.

My question is, how do powerlevelers stop chargebacks? What is stopping me from getting a powerlevel for 150$ or w/e and when the guy is finished, Is imply change the password and charge the money back... Seems tooooo easy!

Any ideas to defend against this? Anything would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: Powerleveling & Chargebacks

Well you can recall your account. Not clear if you are taking a seller or buyer's perspective.

If you are the seller, the one doing the pl, then yes this is an issue. This is why you don't see a lot of personal power levelers now a days. They all work under a company so they are more protected against chargebacks.

Yeah, I am talking about how a powerleveler defends from a customer changing his password when the leveling is almost complete and then charging back his money

Registered mail. Paypal will secure the transaction if you send a mail with a tracking number to the customer. They are paying for the "goods" instead of the service your providing them. Want to be extra secure? Get a signature. It costs 5 dollars at the post office, but if you got a signed registered mail. They wont be able to do a chargeback.
