This issue was brought up a few days ago (http://vbforums.mmobay.net/threads/383595-suggestion-on-dealing-with-scammers) and has been discussed further by myself and all the mods. We have decided that for the good of the community that users offering Power Leveling services must clearly state the terms of their leveling service in their threads so there is no confusion as to what the buyer is purchasing.

This has also been stickied in the Professional gaming buying, sales and services forum

The following information is now REQUIRED in all Power Leveling service threads.

**All users will have 1 week (May 12th) to get their threads updated, after that we will close all threads that do not display this information**

Power Leveling Terms

- Leveling is done by (automated bots/hand)
- The person that is leveling your account is located in (countries)
- If the account gets banned during leveling, we will compensate you (details)

Since threads are not editable after 15 mins, users providing PL service need to contact a Mod or myself and we will update your thread.

Please include the URL and the terms as written above with your details.

Awesome, sounds like a great idea. Hopefully it works as intended.

This new initiative is set to provide a better platform for resolutions when encounters and cases like the one provided above occur. I cannot but stress that it is now the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that you have read and agree with the terms since posting in the thread and contacting them for services will be considered an implied acknowledgment and agreement with their terms.

Don't be lazy, make sure you know what you're getting into.

i think this is a good idea except people are now throwing in disclaimers that in the future they will try to use to allow them to offer zero refunds on things that go bad that is their fault. something needs to be made clear on this topic, as this is screwing the customer. several service providers are too desperate for cash right now to honestly be trusted enough to follow through on their responsibilities tbh.

Hey, aren't you in the same situation as the people you just targeted? Just wondering but as far as I know powerleveling is pretty much dead at the moment.

Geez JP everyone knows your really a icelandic gold farming company that works out of tents on the side of Icebergs stealing wifi from each country you pass as you coast down the middle of the Atlantic. Don't insult my intelligence....

I love wars of flame! *grabs popcorn*

No more of this. When we have important news we wish to be able to post it here with as little clutter as possible. If you have to fight, please take it over AIM.

New Clause: http://vbforums.mmobay.net/threads/384322-*****Account-Clause-Must-Read*****

After discussion, we've come up with a new clause that requires service providers to stick to the activity they are selling to their customers. This means that hand-leveling powerlevelers must hand level the account or will have to compensate the user of full account + service value if they are banned for botting, exploitation, etc.

I, and I'm sure others, believe that this is in the best interests to maintain honest and legitimate service here.

*Note To PowerLevelers*

This does NOT affect your respective terms and conditions. For example, if you claim to hand level the account, and the account is banned while it is *hand* leveled, then your terms on account compensation apply. However, if the account is banned for botting when it was supposed to be hand leveled, these new terms will take effect. If you have any questions whatsoever, don't hesitate to contact any of us.
