Gryphoncar dms me about an offer, an end-game Arknights account. He says he's willing to give me the account first for me to change the login info before having to pay him. I agree because it seemed harmless, although too good to be true I suppose. He declined conventional payment methods and opted to be paid in steam gift cards. At this point I suspected him to be a scammer so I entertained him a little since I had nothing to lose.
The deal was this: I show proof that I purchased the gift cards, which I did, and he will give me the account. I will then change the Arknights account info and give him the gift cards. He wouldn't give me the account despite having showed him proof and asked that I first give him $20. I understand that my account is new and not very trustworthy, but he then tries to gaslight me by posting fake screenshots of people accusing of me being a scammer on EpicNPC, which I LOLed cuz I too know how to edit HTML pages.
