Phone calls/conversation no longer effective

Google Voice has now gone public and I have been playing around with it. For those who don't know Google Voice allows you to get a local phone number from google, add all of your real phone numbers (home, work, cell) and then when someone calls the google number, all your numbers (or whichever you pick) will ring. The problem here becomes that I can add my real phone number to my free, one time use google phone number, give you the google number, scam you then delete my number.

There are rumors that Google is transcribing the conversations and using those for keyword searches to better target ads. I have to wonder if they really are doing so.
