Mona is the best character to pair with Ganyu. She has continuous Hydro application which allows Ganyu to put enemies into a permanent frozen state. Consequently, this doesn't only result in protecting Ganyu and giving her time to charge her shots since the enemies are constantly frozen, it also allows Ganyu to have sustained access to her best artifact set, the four piece Blizzard Strayer, which requires enemies to be affected by Cryo to have +20% critical rate and frozen to acquire +40% critical rate. Not to mention, freeze has an insane synergy with Mona's burst which allows the omen de-buff to extend beyond what's intended if enemies are frozen when the buff is applied.
Jean is not just an effective VV carrier, which shreds the elemental resistances from enemies causing Ganyu to deal even more damage than she already does by shredding Cryo. She is also a great healer, where your health can be restored fully from low percentages to full with a single burst. Additionally, her burst cleanses, which is immensely helpful in abyss and in fights all around. Jean fulfils both the healer and VV carrier positions, allowing you to fit in any character you want for the last spot.
Pity is from 75 to 80 wishes after last 5 star. With 73 fates, four wishes after Jean puts us at 77. Ganyu's banner is on the 25th, not to mention the daily 10 fates log in event that is nigh. You will have the freedom to go through the thrill of wishing for her, or anyone you want instead, with all these fates ready to go~
