This is lamest thing since I am not a scammer my one complaint that led to dispute was so stupid.... I sold a dvd player on ebay, with instructions. Tried it then sent it out. Item was marked no refunds. I told buyer I would take it minus shipping. She ships it back. Opens up paypal dispute. Mean while I test it, it works. I ship out again and get paid. I even get get good feedback....Person who was to dumb to read instructions also left me negative....(My sole negative)

pretty sure they only did this to people with previous claims/reversals and/or people who accept gift payments a lot

Paypal Problems, Information, Issues, Class Action Lawsuits - PayPal

this should be enough warning for you not to use paypal, i sold an eve online account with about 112m SP for 1500$

Buyer opens up a unauthorized claim ,even though i have a copy of his passport + state drivers license and sends it to paypal along with the emails between me and him from his paypal adress, still they side with him.

I end up spending 3 weeks to get my eve online account back, that and while the dispute with paypal is on going , another 60$ minus gets added to my paypal account , apparently thats interest rate and their completely impossible to talk to, i should have ****ing known never to use paypal again with anyone.

it's a well known fact that paypal is a VERY sketchy company with TERRIBLE customer service



I have personally emailed paypal on 3 different occasions about minor issues, they never responded to ANY of the emails
 
$600.00 in video card sales frozen for 3 weeks.....awesome. Paypal def. has me worried. I am paying for insurance on every item now cause of this. Cause if anyone complains about me I see I seem like a scammer or some ****. Going to switch to amazon it seems...

I won't be using paypal again ever.

My paypal account has been up and running since 2006 but ive never had to deal with anything so terrible before.

Here is my experience with Paypal:

After attending a few Blizzcons, I won a Spectral Tiger tcg code at Blizzcon 2009. I immediately listed it on Ebay for $800, because I did not want to risk losing it to all the scams on this site. After a week, I found a buyer and shipped him the code WITH tracking. However, the day after he received it, the funds were disputed. I spent 3 1/2 weeks going back and forth with Paypal about how ridiculous this was considering I had tracking, proof of his purchase through Ebay, emails between us consisting of his consent to purchase and him giving me his address, AS WELL AS PROOF THE CODE HAD BEEN USED THE DAY IT ARRIVED TO HIS HOUSE (Blizzard confirmed for me). Still, Paypal sided with him, even though common sense AS WELL AS their OWN rules should have made them side with me. Was absolutely disgusted and stopped supporting them. However, it's not easy to do these online sales without a paypal, so I ended up coming back and just deciding to never use it for sales over $300-400. Also, Blizzard refused to refund me the code, even though they told me they could see it was used in another country/IP than me and on an account NOT under my name. They even refused to remove it from the account it was put on.

is there anyway to prove that they purchased the account, for the unauthorized payment issue? i just had this happen to me :(.
 
so there is literally no way or steps i could take before the purchase, that can swing it my way? so any purchase on paypal can be reversed? guess im not using paypal anymore or selling any of my accounts in fact.
 
Ther is always one thing you can do. Go to your local police station and ask for the computer fraud division. File a report and let the law finish it for you. In general they stole money from you.
