What should I do?

Thanks

ok, what happened was that the person you sold the account to filed a paypal claim that he did not authorize the payment - basically saying that someone hacked his account and used it to pay for something.

as a result? paypal has now locked the funds pending an investigation. because what you sold was a virtual item, the paypal protection plan will not cover it. moreover, assuming that you did not verify the paypal account and put in place security measures when selling to him, you will lose the dispute and the money will be forfeit.

unless you can somehow prove that the payment was authorized by the person (e.g. the way i do it is to get his email heading and from there get his IP address. then forward the email header with the IP address to paypal - they will match the login and transaction IP to the email - if they match, he authorized it.

i understand that this may not help, but unless you secure your paypal transactions, there is a high chance you will be scammed.

being inexperienced with paypal, maybe some of the users i quoted in my paypal vs western union guide can help you out - link in my forum signature.

good luck.

So, I can't stop this eh?

Call Blizz and get my account back? </div></div>

you can ask the "professionals" in my paypal vs western union thread about this, but in my opinion you cannot stop this (course i could be wrong)

yes, recalling your account right away would be advisable - then transfering it to another account (different secret answer). he may engage in an account ownership tug of war with you by chain calling blizzard. if this happens, the account will be locked but you will ultimately win; being the original owner and able to provide a notarized ID to unlock it.

then transfer : ) next time, be careful mate :P

as an afterthought, one you have transfered to another account, read my GUIDE: PREVENT "UNAUTHORIZED XFER" RECALL (link in signature) to prevent your old account from being recalled and reversing the transfer.

yes, aside from the need to purchase another copy of

a) original wow
b) the burning crusade
c) 25USD transfer cost,

the LAST NAME on the accounts must match (registered user)
