paypal pay by bank invoice?

usually the money goes straight to the paypal balance, but this guy sent a bank invoice.

is this a scam? any precautions I should look for? can he recall the money from the bank?

invoice is a known scam technique I believe ; basically they send you an invoice for a payment and they can put anything they want in the descriptions to make it seem like they legitimately sent you money

Any invoice on Paypal marked as "Paid" is a scam. They are requesting money from you, not sending.

You can report people for invoice scams in Active Disputes.

Look in your PayPal account for the funds.

Don't follow any links from any other party. Just go there yourself.

If the funds are not there it's a scam.
