Hello,

i am kind of afraid of the OTHER things your using as to detect who is conecting to your site. It is not so much that you do, i agree more is needed than IP. But why isn't this anywhere on the site that you actualy do. Is there any reason to be afraid of our personal details? Is there anyway this OTHER thing is illegal as i can't realy imagen anything else than IP logging to be legal.

Please give us some feedback about this other thing.

No your personal info is safe and no it will not be discussed, and yes it's legal.

No where in the disclaimer on your site it states that it logs anything. If it gathers info on my home computer you are in fact in breach of the law. And than it wil need to be discusd! I can understand extra measures are needed against scammers and frauds. But i can't allow anything to send extra details about my machine or myself of the net to some site. If it pulls any data from my machine i am in my right to ask details. And if it is legal i wanne see the documentation where it states on the site you are pulling extra details. Never did i agree to anything like that!

KHA i can open your cd drive with a website. I can store data on your machine in a form of a cookie. When you give my brother flash or java he can make your compute shut of and do all kinds of funny stuff. I build websites as a freelancer alongside my brother so don't teach act all knowing. How do you think malware comes on your pc from visiting one website?

I don't need to do research when i know whats possible. My brother is a scripter and a darn good one if i may say. He also happens to be a programmer and if he rolls his eyes to the first quote i made it makes me wonder.

So prior to assaulting someone, do your research.

Zoefken no malware is installed on your comp, intact nothing is, and the info isn't personal info so no you don't have to be informed of it. Websites gather info about you every time you visit them and a lot more than this site does so relax your bank account is safe, no key loggers. Also again, no you dont need to know what is used as another means of security, what would be the point in having security if everyone knew what it was?

Its a popular VBulletin mod, go to Vbulletin.org and you can find it listed there. But I won't confirm what it is. Its a very simple security feature that is 100% legal and does not log anything . It's also commonly used on almost every website you visit in some shape or form.
