P90X is clown ****, just go to the gym and do low-intensity cardio, it burns fat like there's no tomorrow.

Ahh, feels good to be back.

However, I have to disagree with you Frylock. I've been using p90x for 2 months now, I have lost 31 pounds. Jogging with a 40 pound weight vest has also helped me. I jog nightly with it, anywhere from 3-5 miles.
 
40 pounds in a vest? I didn't know that even existed.
20 pounds in a backpack kills my back. I'd hate to do anything more than that.
But maybe a vest really distributes it well.

You've lost a ton of weight, that's impressive.

Hahaha, yea, it does exist and it works very, very well if you can do those kinds of workouts.
I won't give a link, since I'm not sure how this site is with outside links even if they don't have to do with RMT.

But, it's an Altus 40 pound weight vest, look it up on Amazon.

I have no plans on ever bulking up to Proto's size, but, it helps trim you down fassssttttt and it gives you some great looking legs.
 
Get 8 hours of sleep
Drink water and live fruit juices only
Take a raw multivitamin + supplements if you need them
Eat only organic foods prepared by you so you know exactly what it's in

There you have it folks, the secrets to living to 100.

How do you get your body to burn sugar asap?

Will contact you over AIM when I can to discuss details and such.
dont eat sugar so you dont have to burn it

cut out all sodas, sweet tea, and fruit juice with high sugars and you will lose 2-10 lbs off the get go

What is your guy's thought about Gatorade? I know it has a semi-high amount of sugar but is it that bad for you?

Also, I don't know how to cook at all. (and have no interest in learning, lol) But how do lean cuisine meals compare to homemade meals? (also meals like weight watchers, the microwaveable ones)

Here is my schedule that I plan on doing from this week on:

- Wake up at 7:30 (I have school at 8) and eat a banana/apple for breakfast

- For lunch I'll either not eat or eat school food. (yuck! and it's obviously unhealthy but sometimes I get hungry and our school doesn't really offer any "healthy" snack foods (like fruit) just a bunch of junk food)

- 4:30pm go play some outdoor activity (like shooting a basketball) for 30 minutes (anything after that I get bored)

- 7:30pm go on 30 minute jog/walk

- 9:30pm do some dumbbell lifting for about 30 minutes

For supper I'll hopefully eat something small like a weight watchers meal and like an apple.

That's basically it, I don't want to take any supplements and I plan on ONLY drinking water, milk and "healthy" drinks like Sobe: Lean.

My goal is to lose about 50-60 pounds before August of this year and tone up a bit. (I currently weigh 240)


Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to add that between 3PM and supper I will allow myself one 100 calorie pack of food. (If you guys know what I'm talking about, like the mini poptarts, brownies, etc)

You need to eat real meals, it helps your metabolism, especially breakfast, having an apple in the morning, no lunch, and a tiny dinner is not right at all, you need to eat healthy to give you energy to work out and burn it off more

What would you suggest I eat/proportions? I don't have any cooking experience and I usually don't have time to eat a decent/full breakfast. (because I wake up so late)
