WotLK to be released on November 13 2008
That's it, the WotLK release date is now definitive and the game will be available in store on November 13 2008. The source is an advertisement on Wowhead, which also happens to be an official Blizzard fansite. It means :

* We're now 2 months away from Wrath of the Lich King
* Patch 3.0.2 will probably be deployed on live servers very soon, probably in mid october.

what is official is that it's in the Q4 of this year Nov, Dec are very realistic months it could be released but by Nov 13th? I'm not buying it until gamespot and WoW.com say so.

I remember back with BC... they announced a date and what happened?

We did not even get 2.0 by the supposed "release" date. Then 2.0 brought on a ton of problems, then they had to fix it.

Well long story short, BC was delayed 14 months, this one will not be on time either...

And for those that say "Well they have competition this time with WHO", so what, they do not care! Nor will they publish the game without fixing the bugs of 3.0 (which we have yet to see).

If you do the math on timing.. they have 8 weeks...

- 6 weeks to finish the game
- 2 weeks for packaging/shipping

How long is 3.0 gonna sit on ptr for? Surely no more than 3 - 4 weeks given the timeframe to complete the game. Giving them another week to push a final patch out/test...
